Proverbs Challenge, Day 15

Better is a little with the fear of the Lord, than great treasure with trouble.  17Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a fatted calf with hatred.”

A little can be a lot.  Meager possessions in the hands of a faithful steward are much better than wealth squandered by fools in the troubles of life.  A meal of only herbs shared in a home filled with love is far better than sumptuous feasts where only hatred reigns.  Perhaps we should reflect on the balance sheet of our life and see how our “possessions” measure up.  Grace and peace as you seek the Wisdom of God.
