Does God Know You?

The New King James Version of the Bible says in Nahum 1:7 “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.” It is a comforting thought to remember that the One who knows us better than we know ourselves also “knows those who trust in Him”. The verse reminds us that God is good. He is not an evil being, but a God of love, grace, and mercy. He is holy and righteous in all that He does. He is a fortress, a stronghold, when trouble comes our way. We can flee to Him and find safety and security. He is not deceived by one who claims to trust in Him but in reality has no confidence in Him at all. God, our Father in Heaven, knows those who trust in Him. Does He know you?

  1. Thanks SO much for these words of wisdom. Joe and I both needed this reminder in your words from His word.

    • Thanks, Nan! I continue to lift you both to the Lord on a regular basis and am thankful for your friendship and support. Looking forward to getting together soon.
